Hail and Farewell at the Dixie Grill

Some friends at work insisted that I have a going-away lunch/dinner, so I decided we should all converge on the Dixie Grill after work on Thursday prior to me leaving. It was a great time.

Amy Werner is presenting me with my "accident prone cyclist" going away gifts. Instead of a traditional photo or book that everyone signs, the Navy shop decided to give me a bike helmet with everyone's words of wisdom on it. It really was a great gift, and I am sure going to miss all those folks that were at the dinner...as for some others that weren't at the get together...that's another story.

Here are a few shots of all the folks that came to say good-bye. I'm going to miss all of you, but I'm quite certain some of our paths will cross again.

Now that helmet is a great idea. Accident prone they say? Don't take it to heart
my friend. There is someone else in our family who is clumsier than you. But don't tell my wife I said so;)
